Hello! Today's post is all about stocking fillers - one of my favourite things about Christmas. I love the idea of putting together kinda a little hamper of little things that someone that you know would really enjoy. I'm sure if you're reading this post then you're either prepared and you've only got little things left to buy or you've brought nothing and you're panicking (me this morning!) whatever it is, this post is perfect for you. Everything is linked, just simply click on the products you like the look of and it'll take you directly where you can shop it - could I have made this any easier? Enjoy!

Happy Sunday - am I really setting live my first Christmas post of the year right now? I actually cannot get my hand around the fact that it's December. It's nearly 2019... We have less than a month left! The thought of buying Christmas gifts for people is exciting and I don't know about you but for me, a gift where it's a bundle of everything a person likes is the best kind and that is exactly what Nivea have done this year. I know that a lot of the time, it's actually so hard to think of unique gifts and sometimes it's hard to keep coming up with different ideas so don't worry, Nivea have made that easier for you. The Gift set featured in this post is perfect for the man in your life, whether he regularly uses skin care or not (as it may introduce him to some of his future favourites) I think it's perfect to get someone as it's like a little hamper of 'amazingness' in one box. Could you ask for anymore?! The items in this post were kindly gifted to me by Nivea, however all opinions are my own.

Books? Football? Rugby? Whatever the man in your life is interested in - doesn't matter. This is the gift he will be using all year round and then praying that you get him another one next year! If you haven't been on my blog before then you won't know this but I'm quite (very) obsessed with Nivea and it's simply because their products have never ever ever let me down. I have been obsessed with their moisturiser for years (you can read my post about it here) I trust them. Whether you're extremely prepared or doing all your gift shopping a few days before (the type of person that I've always promised myself I won't become but am also slowly becoming) Nivea have got you covered with their Men's Gift Set that holds their shower gel, moisturiser (one of my recent favourites), face wash, post shave balm and their quick drying deodorant - so it basically sets him up for a while, right? This is honestly the best Gift Set I've seen this year and I am so impressed and I know the man in your life will love this just as much as I do. The gifts that people both love and will also get the use out of it are the best ones, there's nothing worse than getting a gift you won't use so you can be reassured that this gift will go to great use.

Nivea have the best gifts all year round but this year, I am obsessed with their gift sets. I am so honoured to say that the products in this post were kindly sent to me by Nivea and I couldn't wait to tell you all about them. Just a little note, I would never promote a brand that I don't genuinely love, I don't get nothing out of it and neither do you. Nivea have been my go-to for absolute years and I've never been disappointed (and you won't be either!)

I have been wanting a new bag for about a year and a half now.. my problem? most of the bags I've seen for men are very sporty or just not very practical for what I need them for. Most of the time I have to carry around at least a laptop and a notebook so I need something that is going to be able to carry that and also look nice, obviously! I started looking around a few weeks ago and I remembered Dune London - a brand that I have loved for years but have never actually brought anything from but ever time I go past, I have to go in. So I took the plunge, say hello to my new Dune London bags. Firstly, I can't start talking about the bags before I scream about their amazing delivery service. Both of my bags came together and they literally only took about 2-3 days to come which I was so impressed about!

I firstly saw the backpack which is perfect for days where I need to carry a lot of things - a laptop, my notebook and all my other daily essentials. I hadn't actually saw it in real life, so i was a bit sceptical when I ordered it but when it arrived in it's luxury dust bag, I realised it was everything I wanted and needed it to be. It comfortably fits on my shoulders, thanks to Dune London's padded straps which even out the weight of my (very) heavy laptop (which I definitely need to invest in a lighter one!) which is amazing.

I also saw a little flight bag which I have always wanted something like this because often when I travel into Grand Central in Birmingham or places where it can get very crowded, I don't want to be carrying valuables on my back where I can't see them. I like to feel as I know where everything is and that it is organised, so I thought this was perfect for that. I was correct and I'm now obsessed and kinda wished I didn't have to carry things so big with me most of the time so I could use this bag more. I don't know how I managed without this little bag in my life but I've now fallen deeply in love (not dramatic at all)

If you're looking for a new bag, new shoes or if you'd like to check out their ranges then you need to head over to their website because they have some incredible items that look so luxurious (for not so luxurious prices!) which I don't know about you but that's exactly what I want in any item. I think a lot of people look at Dune and think it's so expensive but it's really not, I was amazed how good their prices are and every time I've visited a Dune London store, the quality of their products are incredible and their staff are so lovely and welcoming. It's quickly become one of my favourite brands and I'll definitely be visiting them again when I'm in need.

If you know me then, you will know how much I bloody love this time of year - although, it has been very cold and it's gone very cold very fast so even I am adjusting to this climate! However, I shall never complain about this weather because I would pick this over hot sweaty days any day. So, when planning my 'wintery' content, I knew I had to do this post.. Do you know how excited I was to bring my jumpers back into my wardrobe? (I was v v v excited) I would just like to add that, I promise that this will be the last post that I include my cropped trousers from Topman, but just know that I shall still be wearing them every single day (let's not lie to ourselves!) I couldn't find the exact ones, but you can view all of Topmans' range of their cropped trousers here

This is definitely been my go-to outfit so far, although it's not a combination that I've thought about before. When we transition to Summer, I always pop all my jumpers and coats away and I forget what I actually have so when I unfolded this hoodie which I got in the Urban Outfitters sale a few years ago, I was so excited because did I forget all about it? Yes. Am I madly in love with it again? YES! I know this is crazy to say but I already predict that I will wear this exact outfit the most of this winter, I don't know if it's just me or if any of you do this but I find an outfit that I lovee and I just don't take it off, these trousers are a perfect example of this LOL.

Trainers for me have to tick the comfort box and these Reebok classics that I got for an absolute bargain a few months ago definitely do! I am not actually mad on trainers, I have a few pairs that I love and wear repeatedly but I've never been obsessed with them like some of my friends are. I would rather just have a few pairs that go with most outfits! I indulged in buying myself some Vans the other day, I had some years ago but I simply just don't know where they went (weird, I know) but I absolutely love them and I don't know how I've survived without them because they are so good for slipping on with any outfit and heading out the door. If you're looking for some new shoes then definitely check Rebook out (they do lots of different colours too!)

One of my favourite things to do is share some love, I did a similar thing in October last year where I talked you through 8 Blogs You Need To Be Reading. I am obsessed with Instagram lately, I've always had a rocky relationship with the platform.. Sometimes I'd love it and sometimes I'd hate it but recently, we're going strong. I did a little story over on my Instagram where I mentioned some of the accounts that I love and I thought, why not make it into a blog post? A lot of these people mentioned are some of my favourite bloggers, some I've looked up to since day one. If you don't follow me on social media, you won't know but I've currently got the dreaded winter flu (the first and last I hope, I'm being optimistic!) so I thought I'd talk you through some of my favourite Instagram accounts!

Em Sheldon (EmShelx) - A selection of the best travel and fashion content I've ever come across! Em has been one of my go-to's since I ever started and her content has just got better and better throughout the years! If you're looking for the perfect travel recommendations then you need to head over to her Instagram because the moments she captures are beautiful.

BethLouise (BethxLouisexx) - this girl is the person that pops in my head when I hear people say 'blogging is easy' because this girl has so much determination and passion for what she does, she deserves so much more exposure! Not to mention, she is one of the nicest people I've come across in the industry! Beth gives a real insight into her life on her stories which adds such a personal and unique touch. She's a pleasure to watch.

Maria Joynson (MariaJBlogs) - again, very similar to Beth, this girl makes me want to go work so hard. She is such an inspiration when it comes to making something for yourself and seeing your dream results. She has inspired me so much in the blogging industry from day one and anyone who wants to start blogging or just wants a warming person to go to then this is your girl. Her Instagram is like a 'part two' of her blog and her stories are one of my favourite ever thing.

Carl Cunard (Carl_Cunard) - Carl's feed is essentially a lookbook of the best places to go to be the best dressed and I've been obsessed since I discovered him about a year ago. He has such a warming feed that invites you into his daily life.

Lauren Rosenbaum (Loulabxlle) - If I could have anyone's feed then I would hands down have Lauren's! Whatever season it is, she tops it! Whatever occasion, she has it all! She currently has the cosiest feel for winter and it fills my blogger eyes with joy whenever I look at it.

Thomas Lloyd (Thomas.M.Lloyd) - Finally, my last one brings me on to my favourite bearded man on Instagram, who I discovered very recently! Tom is a husband and a Dad to the most precious little girl. From family days out, to outfit of the days, I really enjoy following his life and I'm sure you would too!

When it comes to your career, you're going going to hit milestones and that's totally normal. It's just how it tends to go. The first one is always getting ready for a new job because when you finish school or university, or you've been travelling for a while, the next thing to do is to get started on your career path. This will be a totally difference experience for all of us, for some it's always the case that you go into a entry-level position and work your way up - but it won't always go that way, sometimes you will find that you end up getting an internship first or that you are trying to build up work experience alongside a part-time job before you can actually land your dream job that you've been working so hard for. Either way, when the time comes, you need to be ready. Here's what you can do! (this post is collaborative - however, as always all opinions are my own!)

1. Getting a portfolio together is essential to show people you can demonstrate your skills - this is where you can show off everything you've experience and this is why, no matter what industry you're in, you should look into getting a portfolio sorted! This way, you've got everything you've done in one place ready to show off and highlight all your strengths!

2. Kit out your wardrobe! When it comes to your first day specifically, and even interviews too, you need to make sure you have a wardrobe ready - it's an essential! This last thing you want is to land a job and be asked to start tomorrow and worry that you don't have everything you need. So you will want to find the best office wear options so you can stock up in preparation! When your work wardrobe is complete, you will feel more ready too.

3. Get Your Transport Sorted - from here, you'll then want to be thinking how you will get to work and do a few trial runs! Will you walk? Get the tube or the tram? Will you be getting the train, or will you drive yourself? And if you're going to, do you have a suitable vehicle? If not, you're going to look into options like the new Vauxhall Grandland X SUV. You will want to invest in something reliable and that will get you to work in one piece (and most importantly, on time!)

4. Networking in your industry is so handy because if you want to get to know people in your company, you need to put yourself out there and connect! To start with, you could do this online with websites such as Linkedin which connects people from all aspects of a business!

5. Creating a 'career plan' is something else you might want to think about either before you start, or as you're finding your feet in your new job, creating a plan of where you want to be and when you want to be there. Ideally, you're going to want to know where you're heading. Today is today but what about next year? Yes, you may be happy to even have the job you have but realistically do you want to be there forever? Or, do you want to grow? My advice is plan this stuff now and get a mental plan in place!

Since deciding to take the plunge and travel all alone and take myself on a little holiday, I have had so many questions about how the hell I did it. When I booked the trip, it was such a spontaneous moment and I didn't give it too much thought. I've gotta be honest, I never questioned if I wanted to go alone, I kinda already knew that.. I was more questioning where I wanted to go and what I wanted to actually get out of it. Before I continue, I just want to say that it was the best experience of my life as of yet - I learned so much about myself on that holiday that I never knew. I've always been the kind of person that likes to be comfortable with their surrounds (just like most people!) so travelling to a different country where I knew nobody was a terrifying thought but the actual reality of it wasn't scary and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I've always been a huge believer of having alone time, making time for yourself because that is just as important as seeing your friend and spending time with your family. It's a weird thought but you're your own biggest responsibility so looking after your mental health is extremely important. The months running up to me booking the holiday were a bit crappy, I was dealing with my parents divorcing which I've never gone into detail about but it was my own personal struggle but I knew dealing with it alone would make me such a strong person by the end of it. So anyway, my initial thought was 'I just want to get away' so I did.

I've never found it hard being alone, or spending time on my own. I filled up my days and there was so many things I wanted to do and so many places where I wanted to go, so on my first day I booked everything I wanted to do and when I wasn't doing anything, I sat by the pool and went for a swim (If you didn't know, I absolutely LOVE swimming but I never go around my area in case someone who knows me saw me)

What would you say to someone that wants to go on holiday on their own but is too scared?
Honestly, I'd say just do it. Being alone is just as important as being surrounded by your friends and family. It's such an experience to go away on your own and experience things you want to experience.

Why didn't you want to go with your friends?
It's just a whole different experience to go away on your own and also, there are things you want to experience on your own and sometimes when you go with friends, it'll just turn into a 'drinking' holiday and I didn't really want that to be honest, I wanted to chill and relax and that's exactly what I got away from the holiday. I've always loved my own company as well and I never actually questioned whether I wanted to go alone, that was just something I was certain on from first thought process about travelling! I don't think I would have experienced half of what I did if I had gone with people, everyone has their different thoughts towards 'the perfect holiday' and my aim was to go and relax!

What's your biggest piece of advice for someone looking to travel alone for the first time?
I'd definitely say just make sure you've got everything you need (that's a good start LOL) if you're staying in a hotel then they will obviously know you're alone and from my experience, they were so good with making sure I was okay and that I had everything I needed and I'd also say filling up your days can make sure you don't get bored but this obviously depends on the type of the person you are really, I don't really get bored when I'm on my own but there are loads of things to do pretty much anywhere you go and there's lots of places to visit, I know a lot of people research places they want to go and have bit of a 'to-do list' before arriving (that was two but there we go!)

I almost forgot to say this but if you are nervous about travelling to a different country on your own, then you could always visit places that are still in the same country but a few hours away - I did this! I took myself to Brighton for a few days and then I went to London for a few days as well, this is kinda like testing the waters and seeing how you'd cope with being on your own and stuff!

Was it awkward eating by yourself and being surrounded by purely your own thoughts?
Again, this depends totally on the kind of person you are but I don't even think about people looking at me and thinking that it's weird I'm on my own? I don't know why but I just don't care, I'm more than happy to sit on my own and eat and I'm absolutely fine with that. I don't know if it comes with maturity because when I was younger I wouldn't of ever eaten alone but now I'm more than happy to sit on my own in a restaurant and eat. Being surrounded by your own thoughts can be a scary situation but I was always doing something and obviously, I spoke to different people around the resort and there was actually quite a few people on there own too! To be honest, by the time I'd got back into my room I was knackered and fell asleep pretty much straight away.

Were you not scared of getting lost?
Weirdly no, the way I think of it is that you don't know where you are anyway so you're basically lost the whole time you're there (LOL) and I got a transfer straight from the airport when I landed to take me to the resort I was staying in, (which really helped, even if you're not going alone this is something I will always do when I'm travelling because it makes everything so much easier and less stressful) so I was never left on my own until I was at the resort and I kinda enjoyed finding my way around and exploring. They had little shuttle buses to different places (they do this at most places!) so you can explore and then they'll let you know when the bus is due to come to take you back.

Overall, it was the best experience I've ever had and if you're thinking about going away then my advice is to just do it! I have the mind set of wanting to experience as much as I can whilst I can and that's something that I would urge you all to do. If you've got a goal of somewhere you would love to visit then take every opportunity you can get - save up and make it happen!

Every now and again, I go through phases of actually putting some effort with my hair (this usually lasts about a month each time LOL) and when I do bother with my hair, I use the range from Johnny's Chop Shop which is the best, in my opinion. Their range has many products from hairspray to shaving essentials. My personal favourites are The Texturising Spray, the Power Hold Hairspray and finally, the Wild Cat Hair Clay, I am yet to try all the products from the brand but these are the products that make my hair look and feel amazing!

The Texturising Spray does exactly what you want a texturising product to do. If you have never tried this product then you're honestly missing out big time! I usually apply a few pumps on freshly washed hair and then dry it off. I was so surprised how far a little amount of this product goes and it lasts for so long. It kinda gives you that messy look (in a good way obviously!) and enables you to have control over the style you're creating.

The Power Hold Hairpsray is essential for any final look. I used to always use a certain hairspray which I noticed after a while was making my hair look extremely greasy - and then I found this one from Johnny's Chop Shop and I was BLOWN AWAY. It's such a light product that does so much for the look of your hair with minimal effort.

Finally, the Wild Hair Cat Clay.. I've always been a huge fan of clay and waxes as opposed to moose products as I've found that they make my hair have more of a wet look and I've never really been a huge fan of that at all. Just like the other products that I've tried from their range, a little bit goes a hell of a long way and it dries so quickly to prevent your hair from looking greasy which is personally, exactly what I look for in a clay product. I usually use this product on freshly dried (or two day hair!) hair, by rubbing a small amount in between the palms of my hands and then gliding it through to create my desired style.

You can view the whole of the Johnny's Chop Shop range by clicking here (they also have amazing gift boxes which are perfect with Christmas slowly approaching!)

THE HAIR GROOMING BRAND I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH

Hello, Evening! I'm guessing you're reading this in the evening anyway because that's when I've uploaded it. If not then, Good Morning.. I hope you all have a good day (read this first though!) I have met a lot a lot of people in my life and some I've clicked with straight away and others, I haven't - which is totally normal, we can't all get a long. However, I came to realise that I used to have a bit of a shy moment when talking to people and I never understood why and I'd always wonder if other people have noticed but I never understand it myself to ask someone else, and I think I was simply too worried to ask someone because if I don't know then how is Jane from down the road going to know what's going on? After over-thinking this topic for quite a while, I decided to try and branch out of this habit I had (I can only call it a habit because I don't know what else to call it) and I really wanted to talk about this today, now I've conquered this feeling I wanted to share a bit of advice if anyone is going through a similar thing that I did. These tips won't work for everyone, same as they won't ALL work for you - different things work for different people!

1. If you think someone doesn't like you, you're probably just over thinking it and if they don't then does it matter? There are going to be people that don't like you, equally they're going to be people that you don't like as well - we're human and it's normal.

2. Being able to act like your true self is a great quality, why change who you are around someone and why do you think that acting like someone else will make people like you more? Your true self is the best version of yourself and you need to embrace it. Also, people can always tell if someone is acting weirdly or not themselves and then this could cause them to question it even more.

3. Write down things that are great about you (and this isn't vein, if it helps then why not?) this one might not be for everyone and I completely get it, but it might help others. I know someone who splits their life up into sections - job, family, hobbies and friends and list all the amazing qualities. I think this one helps if you feel like you're stuck in a bit of a rut and you're bored of doing the same things because it makes you appreciate the things that you have in your life and highlights the things that makes you happy and the things that make you who you are.

4. Have a open mind to everyone you meet. People want to talk to you because you come across as a nice person and they want to talk to you for that reason, if they didn't then they wouldn't be talking to you.

5. There are loads of things you can talk to people about, if it makes it better than just think before you get there on what you're going to talk about. This is a point that you can relate to so many different scenarios - work, dating or parties! Oh, and talk about yourself - even if it's made up and you're never going to see that person again (just make sure you remember what you've said if you do aha!) everyone's got something unique about their life, so talk about it and this can open so many doors to more conversations.

6. Smile. Smiling at people can make such a huge difference and sometimes people will probably be just as shy. Don't forget, you're not the only person feeling like this. There are so many people out there feeling exactly the same thing and you're probably both thinking the same, a smile can open up that barrier and lead on to conversation.

7. Take yourself out of your comfort zone and put yourself into situations that you wouldn't normally. This can sound soo scary at first but it's such a good way to get used to being with people you don't know and having to talk to them. I had experience with retail and when you put it into perspective, I was put into a situation where I knew nobody and this helped me massively!

HOW TO BE A MORE CONFIDENT YOU

Hello! As it was getting closer to me starting University, whilst planning blog posts I was dying to do this as it's one of my favourite posts to read.. I guess you're just as nosy as I am *inserts laughing face emoji*. When writing this, I have just completed my first week and I have loved it, I don't know if I spoke about this in my last post but I've been out of education since I was sixteen and I knew that this is what I wanted to do, it was my choice to go and I felt at school it was like there was no other direction for you to go in.. One of my frequently asked questions from my teachers were 'Which University are you planning to go to?' and I had no plans to go. I'm excited to work hard and work towards something as I've been working and haven't had any academic goals and this is has made really look forward to working hard and setting myself some goals within education.

So anyways, whilst packing my bag for a day of lectures tomorrow I thought I would give you a little insight into what I take on an average day. Obviously this varies a lot depending on what course you're studying and there will be things that some people will have to take that I don't, this is what I've found that works for me at the moment! When choosing a bag for University, I wanted something that is going to be very practical (for obvious reasons!) my checklist was that it would fit everything in and I wouldn't feel like I have a suitcase attached to my back. I found the perfect one from Jack Wills (you can view their range here!) which I fully recommend to anyone that is looking for a bag that is very spacious and has compartments for everything you will need.

this is an essential as you're gonna be making lots and lots of notes. I picked one up from Wilko and it was about £1-£2 and it does the job. I have only brought one at the moment but I can just pick another one up when it gets full (the way things are going, that'll be pretty soon!) I've decided to leave all my folders at home and then just slip the notes into the relevant folder when I get home. I've found this to be a lot easier than lugging around all my folders for my different lectures.

A Weekly Planner
Obviously this depends on how many other commitments you have but I've found that a planner for the week makes me so feel much more organised! I have found jotting down everything in the same place has changed my life (dramatic but true) so I know where I am and which day I am doing what. I picked this one up from Urban Outfitters but they do them at lots of places.

My Student ID
Self explanatory, but could I get by without one? No, it's an essential and it would be silly of me to do this post without including it. Don't forget your student ID, I did on my first day and had to run home to grab it (not the best move I've done!)

Pens, pencils and all that jazz!
Again, this all depends on what course you're doing and what things you are required to take but I have a little pencil case (which I've had since year 8!) that just holds a few pens, a few pencils, rubbers and all that fun stuff. If you are looking for stationary then I recommend Ryman, they have really affordable packs that you can buy in bulk which means they'll last you such a long time and they also offer students 10% off (what a bonus!)

If you are looking for stationary then I recommend Ryman, they have really affordable packs that you can buy in bulk which means they'll last you such a long time and they also offer students 10% off (what a bonus!)

Hello, I was really unsure whether to include clothing items in this post but I may do that in it's own separate post (plus I have way too many clothing items at the mo!). So today, I'm going to be talking through the items that get me through the hot weather when I'm abroad.. As you know I am a winter boy. I love winter, I love cold nights, being able to throw on coats and baggy jumpers... So these things really do come in handy in the hot climate! This is a bit of a random post but I've seen so many people capturing them jetting off to different countries and it's made me want to go away sooo much, so here we are! I also have a post where I go through some of my Aeroplane Carry On Essentials which you can find by clicking here

Let's get started..

Sure Men Invisible Ice Antiperspirant Deodorant
Favourite deodorant to date. I've decided to do this one first as I couldn't actually wait to rave to you all about it. It is best deodorant I've ever brought and Sure has never let me down, I've always reached for Sure products as I've always used them and always trusted them. The Invisible Ice Deodorant also comes with MotionSense technology which gives you guaranteed freshness for longer and I am LIVING for it.

Evian Facial Spray
I'm not gonna lie but I didn't know 'facial sprays' existed until I discovered this product about a year ago. It's a genius idea, yes the cool sensation doesn't last long but you could use it all day if you wanted to! My 'do it yourself' idea for this product is to get a squirty bottle and just fill it up with water then you wouldn't be as sparing with the product because you could just fill it back up whenever you wanted!

Paul Smith Aftershave Lotion Spray
I can't be the only one that has a holiday scent? This Spray smells a-ma-zing. I've received so many compliments about this aftershave product that it would be wrong not to include it in this post.

Optrex Hay-fever Eye Drops
Yes I am a sufferer and always have been for as long as I can remember. Absolute agony and one of the main reasons why I am not a 'sun boy'. However, since using these eye drops every so often when I'm out and about in pollinated areas I have been pleasantly surprised and I have never tried anything like this product. I have been to my GP many times and tried many different nasal sprays, tablets and drops but nothing has worked better than these eye drops. 10/10 recommend!

Hello, I cannot describe to you how good it feels to be back on my little space talking to you all again. If you're a content creator yourself then you'll sure know how I've been feeling and if not then expect it to come soon but I've learned to let it happen, I would never want to force content or feel like I'm only doing it because I have to and not because I want to. Just a little update for you as I haven't spoken to you in a while but my birthday was earlier on in the month and I had the nicest day with my Mum, we went for drinks at The Alchemist (which served the best cocktails ever!) they had two menus and one of the menus were called Theatrical, the cocktails did different things such as light up and let loads of smoke out which were really cool and then we went for a meal at Bodega which is a really place where they serve Mexican food in Birmingham (we ordered far too much but there was so many things we wanted to try!) and I'm now 21 - crazy.
During my time off from the internet I've had a little think and I've always wanted this platform to be somewhere I write about things that I want to write about but lately, and I'm going to be honest.. I haven't felt like this and it sucks. It sucks that the creator community has changed massively. People are doing things for the wrong reasons and people are doing everything they can just for views and it's a nasty place to be sometimes - obviously not everyone but I've saw so much online lately about 'shading' people and that's not what it should be about. I can only talk on my half when I say that I started this because I love it and I still love it but I'm not going to go through desperate measures, such as being horrible to someone just for the sake of some views because my authenticity is way more important to me.

This is just a little reminder and something that I felt like I really wanted to mention on this platform and already whilst writing this, I can feel a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing and even if I got zero views, at least I still have my pride.

Also, if you are a content creator.. Keep your authenticity and don't feel like you have to knock people just for a pay check at the end of the month. Yes, the online community is changing a lot but be real to yourself and your audience because essentially they have got you where you are today and they deserve more than you just being horrible to someone so you can live your life. The people that watch or read your content should be enjoying your content because they're watching you and not a show for money.

Hello! If you didn't already know, I am off to University very very soon and I am very excited (also very proud of myself for going through with it) and I have written up a few things that I am going to be taking with me to survive my first term there.. And if you've found out that you're going to University in the next few months (a HUGE well done by the way!) then this might help you along the way (if you're anything like me then you have to be prepared!) Boohoo have also designed their very own Student Hub where all-things-freshers are discussed which you can check out here! This post is kindly in collaboration with Boohoo but as always all opinions are my own, thank you!

1. Starting a conversation with everyone you can will make such a difference to that persons day! You'll probably find that person wants to talk to you, just as much as you want to talk to them. Meet and talk to as many people as you can because everyone will be in the same boat and everyone wants to be making friends. It's a strange environment for people who have moved away to study and they don't know anyone, so having a conversation with them can put them at so much ease.

2. Say yes to everything - what I mean by this is there's going to be lots of different clubs and societies and these are the perfect ways to get to know new people and learn new skills. University is a great place to get involved with things that normally you wouldn't get involved with - grab them with both hands. I've done a little research of different things and by the looks of it, there's a club for absolutely everything.

3. I plan to start all my work when it's set and I am quite adamant to stick to this and put my work first. I don't want to be that person that is constantly unorganised and rushing to get work completed and I guarantee you will enjoy it loads more if you're organised! Also, being organised is key for University such as things like packing your bag the night before, so you know you've got the right things for the things you're going to be doing that specific day and then even if you hit that snooze button a few more times than you really should have then at least that's one less thing you've got to do!

4. This brings me on to my next point, designate a day to sort your stuff out! This includes books, folders and notebooks because from time to time, we all just throw things in anywhere and eventually if we keep doing that then we're not gonna know where anything is when we need it and the thought of that stresses me out so much.

5. Budgeting, yay! Yes we all get money for 'free' and that's fab but we've gotta live off it, especially if you've moved away. My biggest tip is to divide your money up so you have an equal amount each month to live off because it's gonna be the worst thing ever when you have nothing to eat and you can't go out because you've blew all your money.

FRESHERS SURVIVAL GUIDE | AD

Hello! Following on from my Relationship post back in 2017 (which I had so much support on so thank you so much for that!) where I spoke about getting cheated on and basically everything that went wrong in my last relationship, I wanted to do this and part of my brain knew that I wanted to write this at the time, ya'know because I knew that I'd be fine now but at the time? No. Of course not, it's almost like I got sucked into this world of 'never escaping this horrible feeling of loneliness and betrayal' but looking at myself now and looking back on what happened, I am so (insert f word) happy.

My first tip and the first thing that I did was to block them on everything. Block them out, literally. I don't know if i'm the only person that feels like this but when you miss someone and you're constantly being updated on what they're doing it makes you feel even worse - it's strange when I put it like that but it's true. I hate knowing that the person that has done me so wrong is having a good time, i'll be honest. Plus, why would you want them as your Facebook friend? Because they're not your friend. Reality. It's important to be hard on yourself because like I said in my last post, you have to look into the future because for example, if someone eliminates your trust (cheating etc) then how are you going to enjoy being with them when trust is such a big thing in a relationship?

When I had my experience, I remember ringing up my best friend straight away and telling him what happened and I straight away caught a train the next morning to go visit him and that was fab at the time but I think if I had gave myself time then it would of been a lot quicker to process because I had ignored the situation instead of thinking about it (which isn't the best for everyone but I'm just speaking regarding what I learned in my experience) so my next tip is give yourself time. It's okay to cry, it's okay to be sad. Someone has come into your life and left. It's fine to be sad, its normal to be sad.
I am always the type of the person in these certain situations where I think far ahead and I think as realistic as I can. I always told myself how this isn't going to be affect me forever. Because it's not. Everything seems like such a HUGE deal when it's happening but in six months time, will you still be crying over it? I guarantee you won't. Everybody goes through break ups, some worse than others but it's how you react that can make such a huge difference to how you feel and how you look on the outside. You've met this person for a reason and as much as it's shitty at the time, you've learned so much about yourself through this whole process that you can take away with you. Everything that happens in your life is a lesson.

There is nothing wrong with talking to people. If you find yourself wanting company then get your friends round because there is nobody better at talking about these things to than the closest people in your life because they understand you and want the best for you.

And remember just like everything in life, everything gets better and everything happens for a reason. If you're a friend of someone going through a similar thing then just be there for them, they will appreciate it so much x

MY ULTIMATE TIPS ON 'GETTING OVER A BREAK UP'

LO'real Men Expert have truly won the award for the best men's skincare in my eyes. Their entire range features a number of different products from deodorant to shaving essentials in heart of making people across the world look their best.

I'm not gonna lie but I had zero idea that this particular product even existed until I found it kindly gifted to me. It is designed to soften your stubble whilst also softening and giving moisture to your skin, making it easier and more comfortable for you to shave. One of its main technologies is the clever skin hydrater which works to replenish the loss of moisture on your skin. It's very natural for the moisture in your skin to reduce when it's exposed to a lot of sunlight, dirt and grime. I am a huge campaigner for products which contain Vitamin E in as it kinda gives my skin the kick it needs in time of need.
To use, I massage a small amount onto my face after it has been freshly washed. You can either do this right before shaving or the night before to prep your skin for the morning. This goes without saying but avoid your eyes (come on, we've all done it before) but overall this product has amazed me so much and has quickly became one of my favourite skincare products!

I always find a person's bedside table says so much about them. The things you choose to keep there are your essential items weather that's a huge sharer (but not for sharing) bag of crisps or lots of pamper bits. I always tend to keep a mixture of things in and on my bedside table. One day it's lots of crisp packets followed by four empty glasses and then sometimes it's the skincare I'm loving at the moment. Keeping skincare next to my bed has became one of the best things for me as it's a little subtle reminder to NEVER fall asleep before applying it. Doing my skincare in the evening acts as a little break up of the day before I hop into bed. You will notice that there isn't hardly anything at the top of my bedside table and this is because I like things to look very simple and tidy and the drawer compartment is where the mess happens and where all my go-to's get chucked in! One of which is my trustee Vitamin C Skin Reviver from The Body Shop which I tend to use at night as when I wake up my eyes feel so refreshed and hydrated after using this the night before. Secondly, I couldn't forget about my Nivea Men Creme which has never let me down, I always apply this daily after I've done the usual face wash and teeth cleanse. This product has been an absolute life safer since the first time I ever used it.

This isn't all my skincare I swear by but this is just a few items I have out at the moment. I also keep my reliable iPhone earphones very close to my bed for those sleepless nights of watching Youtube and listening to my favourite playlists.

As a blogger, getting opportunities to work with your favourite brands is not only an amazing feeling but it also ables you to share products you love with your audience. I get asked quite regularly how much I get paid and how do I get a brands attention, not only by aspiring content creators but by people who are close to me as well - it's interesting because it's new.

My first bit of advice that it would feel weird to write this and not mention this point is that you have to give yourself time to grow. Whilst some bloggers have millions and millions of views, if you only have 100 views but it is a very engaged 100 views then this will be very appealing to brands. The best way for me to describe this is you're a billboard, why would a company put an advertisement on a billboard in a street that isn't busy? The bigger your audience, the more people will see it.

This brings me on to media kits - a media kit is a document which tells the brand everything about you and your blog. It's kinda like a CV or a resume but more creative. This is essentially your chance to sell yourself to the brand and include information such as your blog stats, your niche (what your blog is about), past campaigns you've been involved with and collaboration options. If you're confused about how to start a media kit then click here for a useful guide.
I think a good idea is to write a list of all the brands you'd love to work with, even if it seems unrealistic at the moment - jot them down! You don't want any sponsored posts to stand about as a blatant ad, it should blend in with your other content and look authentic to your audience. As much as you may be egar to email massive international brands, smaller companies are more likely to your offer on board as they love the organic exposure.

Sending an e-mail to a brand can be a nervous experience - it's almost like applying for a job, except the worlds you write could essentially reach someone really high in the brand straight away. Once you have a good list, start reaching out to brands you love (and that fit your niche!).

My biggest tip when writing an e-mail to a brand is to do your research on who is going to be receiving it such as what their role is within the company and address them by their name. Not only do I think this is just general politeness but it also just makes everything a bit more personal and that you haven't just copied and pasted the same text to a million different brands in hope to earn some quick cash. I've always had a little mental template when I write an e-mail so I never forget to include anything (we've all been there!). Start by introducing yourself and your blog, why you want to work with them and which products have made you fall in love with their brand. I'd then always ask about their collaboration ideas. Lastly, always remember your attach your media kit!

E-MAIL TEMPLATE
1. Introduce yourself and your blog
2. Why would you like to work with the brand?
3. Which products have made you fall in love with the brand?
4. Ask them about their collaboration ideas
5. Attach media kit!

And also, never feel discouraged - companies all have different goals and budgets. If you don't hear back then it's fine. Keep going, keep looking for opportunities!

DEAR BLOGGERS, LET'S TALK BRAND DEALS
