For me, getting someone a gift that doesn't just look luxurious but something that is actually so practical is the way to go and I have the perfect solution (if you're struggling for what to get your loved one!) Nordgreen offer sustainable designer watches that capture a sophisticated minimalism vibe that is perfect for everyone. Not to forget their amazing sustainable packaging that are formed by up-cycled plastic bottles. You can read more about Nordgreen's story here.
I was looking for something a little special to gift my Dad for Father's Day and I found the perfect watch from Nordgreen which is the Native White Dial and I opted for a brown leather strap. All watches at Nordgreen are fully customizable which means you can make the watch look and fit any way you like, from how big you would like the watch face to what color strap is perfect for you or a loved one. They make the perfect gift. With life being a little odd lately, it has really opened my eyes to brands that do so much for people that are less unfortunate than ourselves, Nordgreen donate a percentage of each sale to help people in devastating circumstances - they have teamed up with Water for Good, Pratham UK and Cool Earth to give more people access to clean water, education and preserve 200 sqft of rain forest in Latin America for every watch that is purchased through the Nordgreen site. I was so delighted to hear that Nordgreen wanted to work with me on this post, I found such an inspiring quote on their website that read "We believe the right to good health, a clean enviroment, and a full education are rights for all. The Harsh reality, however, is that much of the world does not experience them. Motivated by our Danish values, when we founded Nordgreen, we knew we had to do our part to help to change this in whatever way we could. There was no excuse not to give back" and the best thing about it is that you can decide which cause your purchase goes towards.

This post was kindly in collaboration with Nordgreen, however all opinions are my own. Thank you so much to Nordgreen to working with me on this post!

You may be achieving significant milestones in your life and aren't celebrating nearly as often as you should be. It's important to take the time to acknowledge your achievements and reward yourself appropriately. Doing so will help to keep you motivated and on track for accomplishing even more as time goes on. Practicing self-care will make you feel better and you'll have more energy to continue reaching for your desired goals in life. It's also important to remember that it's not selfish to attend to your needs and care for yourself.

Sleep In & Rest - One way to reward yourself and practice self-care that I have found is to get more sleep and enjoy having a rest. Pick a day or two that you can sleep in and don't set your alarm. Turn your phone off and have some me time. Taking breaks from social media and being on your phone can do wonders for your mental health and well-being.

Treat Yourself - You can also reward yourself by treating yourself to something that you've always wanted. Think about what you've been dreaming about and saving up for and then have fun shopping for it and becoming the proud owner of a special present to yourself. A few ideas include purchasing a new outfit or a Richard Mille watch. It's a chance for you to treat yourself without feeling guilty about how much you're spending.

Take a Day Off Work - Another idea if you want to reward or treat yourself is to book yourself some holiday off work and relax. Use it as an opportunity to spend time doing what you love. For instance, go for a coffee with a friend or plan a trip away and do the activities you love to do. Taking time off work may be all you need to improve your mental health and get yourself feeling motivated to work hard. Whilst work is important, so is your health and wellness and a break may be all you need to feel your best and more confident about how for you've come.

Go For A Hike or Bike Ride - Exercise doesn't always have to be a chore and there are so many health benefits that is offers too. Going for a hike on a new trail is a excellent way to clear your mind and reduce any stress you're feeling as well. Go outside in nature so you can appreciate what is around you. This could be fun to take a friend with you too!

Did you know that Revolution did skincare? Because I certainly didn't. One day I was searching for some new products from a brand that I had never come across before and I stumbled upon Revolution's website and found that they do some amazing skincare products. I decided to go for a new moisturizer as with the weather changing my skin is suffering as usual and it has become so dry again which has become a slight problem I've dealt with the past few months so trying out new products for hydration is always a task that is on top of my list.
With that, I decided to go for the Protection Boost Moisturizer which has got to be my new favorite. When first applying it, I was so impressed with how creamy the formula actually was and it just feels like it is doing wonders for my skin, this proved to be correct after a month of trying this product I am so impressed with how it hydrates my face and how long it moisturizes it for. My face feels so hydrated throughout the day. I usually use this product twice a day, first when I wake up and straight after showering in the evening when my pores are open (Just a little sidenote, I would recommend everyone does their skincare straight after a shower as I always find it is when my pores are the most open and my skin gets so dry when coming out the shower so it just feels super refreshing).

The next products I went for were a set of Essence Sprays which I was firstly just intrigued of as I've never tried anything like that before. I remember when I was working with The Body Shop, they sold a similar thing and theirs were amazing. I've been using the Hydrating Essence Spray for around a month too and the combination of the moisturizer and the spray is doing wonders for my skin. My pores feel so much cleaner and I am so happy I stumbled upon Revolutions products.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post - as always, everything is linked in the post if you wanted to check out any of the products mentioned. I hope you're all staying safe and well.

I have not done one of these for a bloooming long time and I have not been doing an awful lot lately, apart from sitting in my flat and playing a lot of XBOX (I'm currently waiting for my switch to arrive and then that will quickly take over my life haha!). I hope you enjoy this weeks post and I hope you're all doing well and staying safe. Update: Since writing this post a few weeks ago, my Nintendo Switch has arrived and I haven't left it alone for more than an hour hehe but this post was written before receiving it so that's why it's not included!

XBOX ONE
So there we go, say hello to my first fave. My XBOX One. I have never been massive on gaming until recently, I mean.. I'm still not huge on it but I do love it and I don't understand how I went so long without having my own console. It passes a lot of time and I've been using it lately to just occupy myself and make the time go a bit faster (and it works!).

APPLE AIRPODS
The next thing I've been loving is my Airpods, I didn't know how much I needed them until I had them - they're so useful and handy to have! I love being able to clean my flat and not having to worry about a cable. They have been such a huge investment for me and I love them A LOT. They're also perfect for people who go on runs, I can imagine (really imagine) that it would be so much easier without a cable attached to your phone, getting in the way whilst running or doing exercise!

EASTPAK POUCH
Okay, it can't just be me that has saw everyone walking around with these little pouches and I know I know at first, I wasn't a huge fan of it. It wasn't for me until I brought a pouch and started using it, I then realized how much of a great idea a pouch actually is. I'm not one of these people who carry a lot around with them, I usually tend to just carry the few things I need, such as my keys, cards and my phone and that's it - so I used to essentially carry a huge bag around for no reason whatsoever. It 's so useful to have with me and I LOVE IT.

JIMMY CARR CONCERT DVD
If you didn't know this about me, I love Jimmy Carr and I've never saw him in concert or anything but I just bloody love his humor, it's not for everyone I know and sometimes it's a little too dark but that is essentially my humor and I really like him. I got brought these by someone who I used to work with last Christmas and I'm yet to watch them but if you like dark humor then you need to watch his clips on Youtube because they will make you laugh a lot (Obviously, goes without saying - depending on your age as his jokes aren't really for younger ages!)

CADBURY BRUNCH BAR
FOOD. I love food. I had to include a food item in this post. I am not a person who likes cereal, in fact I don't even like milk (unless it's in tea and I have the tiniest bit!) but I needed something to grab for breakfast if I'm in a rush to start working and these are delicious, they're perfect.

SET OF MUGS (SIMILAR)
This post was called 'random' for a reason. New mugs. Not a great lot I can say about these but I just saw them in Aldi (I KNOW!) and thought wow, I love you. So I brought them. I love mugs with a good big handle and these have such a nice handle. Great mugs. (I hope self isolation isn't making you talk about mugs too, I'm going a tad insane!)

Hello! Happy Sunday, I hope you've all had a great week. I wanted to do something today which I've never ever done. I firstly just want to do a little disclaimer, this is not me bragging or 'showing off', I hate that I even have to say this but obviously bloggers and yter's do get sent things as part of our job from brands that would like us to mention them to our audiences, 99% of products that are sent to my PO BOX are actually not contracted and I haven't been told to say anything about the products or even show them at all, it's totally my choice - the products featured today are not part of our current brand deal, although they will be linked below using an affiliate link provided by the brand! (and why the post is titled with AD) :)

Hello everyone! I thought this would be a good post to write as it may give you a few ideas what to have to eat during your days at home, as many of you will be used to going out to work in an office or wherever, so now that you may be working from home and have a little more time during your lunch breaks to make food, this may give you a little inspiration on what to eat! I do also just want to say, I haven't changed what I would normally eat just because I'm shooting it for a post, I don't eat this everyday and it does vary day to day on what I fancy to eat. Everybody eats different things and have different diets, so this is just what I ate on this particular day. Nobody should be judged for what they choose to eat or choose not to eat. I hope you enjoy looking through what I ate on this day. This is something a little different to the usual stuff I do but never the less, I loved doing it.

BREAKFAST - Two pieces of toast, a strawberry yogurt and apple juice.
I've really been reaching for this breakfast quite a lot lately, I tend to give myself more of a chilled morning lately and start work around 10-11 so this is a quick breakfast for me to grab. I love eating something fresh with my breakfast in the morning, like a yogurt and strawberry yogurts have been my go-to for years!

LUNCH - Houmous and Ham wrap, packet of salt and vinegar French Fries.
I totally forgot to shoot my lunch but this is what I had. I remember once having houmous that was going out of date and I thought 'Oh, I'll just wack it in a wrap' and it was amazing. One of the best lunch ideas I've ever discovered and it is so easy and cheap to make!

SNACK - Chocolate Brownies.
I have saw so many people doing this during this weird time we're going through right now and I decided to do it myself. I love brownies and I was craving them so bad seeing so many people make them lately so I decided to make my own. I made 12 brownies and froze half. Baking is such a fun little thing to do when you are stuck in and you could literally have a baking day with all your fam that you live with and batch freeze them for when you fancy it.

DINNER - Chinese Chicken curry.
Again, I've been loving these meals that I've been picking up from my local Tesco and I crave Chinese food so much and this really cures my cravings. I usually have these with some gyozas but I couldn't find them in any of the shops (story of everyone's life at the moment I know). I also forgot to shoot this too (I am the worst blogger hehe!) but I've searched it and linked it here for you because it is THAT GOOD. It is worth trying!

Hello, Happy Sunday! So if you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I moved into my new flat a few months ago and I've been organizing little drawers and stuff since and finding something that works for me now I have all this space that I haven't ever had before. And with that, I have finally finished my bedroom (I think... for now!) and I wanted to share it with you. I've also linked everything that I could possibly find at the bottom of this post for you (or something very similar as a lot of items were brought quite a while ago so chances are they may not be in stock now!), if you are interested in anything that is featured. I hope you enjoy this week's post.

Hello. I thought I would share some light on this topic as I feel as I've been in the dark and to be honest, I didn't take this seriously until now. Coronavirus is a new virus that has came about and is spreading very quickly. I know some people that are currently self-isolating themselves, which includes staying in as much as they possible can without having contact with anybody else.

I'd just like to share some tips that I've saw and that I'm doing myself to put you all at ease. This is the last time I will be discussing this as I want this platform to be a happy place where you can take your mind off topics like this as I know it's all we've been hearing about lately.

Wash your hands. This is the biggest thing that everyone seems to be saying. Carry around hand sanitizer and if you can't get any, as a lot of you know the supermarkets have been massively affected by this and there isn't a lot of stock left. Victoria has done a Youtube video where is includes a home recipe for a hand sanitizer (which starts at around 8:20) that is very easy and cheap to make.

Only take what you need from stores. Just don't be selfish, don't take all the toilet roll, don't take all the soap. We are all in this together and if you buy all the soap then that isn't going to make a difference, we all need to be using soap for this method to be effective. If you've took all the soap and someone else hasn't then they can still transmit the virus (if they have it).

Just be cautious when in public places, I know that 'we should all be washing our hands' and of course we do but it's just about being a little bit  more cautious right now. I know this is a very scary virus but don't stress. Look after your loved ones, if you have vulnerable family members then make sure they're okay. I've also saw that some people are leaving notes under their neighbours' doors to see if they need anything from the shops - I think this is a lovely idea. Of course, just to be careful I would just make sure you wash your hands before writing a note, just be careful about things. I think that's what I would like to stress. Just be extra cautious.

If you are working from home due to what's going on, from someone who works from home and has done for a while now. If you're used to working from an office then don't work more than you usually would, set yourself up as you would normally and work your usual office hours. It's important to set yourself a lunch break and have the same routine.

How to get your mind off what is going on in the world right now? My advice is to just do something you enjoy. Cook yourself your favourite meal, re-watch your favourite films or series' and binge on netflix. Just relax and do you. This is such a scary time right now, especially for those who have anxiety. Have a bath, relax and if you do find yourself still worrying then get your words out weather that's writing them down or calling a family member/friend and letting them know how you feel. Talking to someone can make a huge difference.

You can find more info about the virus here. I hope you found this comforting. We are all going through this together so please be cautious and look out for others. If have a bulk of toilet roll and you've noticed people looking for it and there's none left then share some generosity with them.

Before you start reading this post, I'd just like to say that this is very imprompt and this isn't planned (enjoy an old picture of me that I've never posted online before) but I feel like with recent events that have happened, it's only right that I address a few things that have been on my mind. Having doing this for years, I've built up an amazing audience and I have the ability to reach out to thousands of people and I feel as it would be wrong and disrespectful (in my eyes) to carry on as if nothing has happened. This is partly a tribute to Caroline Flack. I just want to say that people can still disagree with someones actions but are we that cruel to say that someone deserved to take their own life? No. We can't be. This is probably the most serious blog post I've written to date but we can't ignore things and neither do I want to. Things need to change.

Social media plays such a big part in our lives in this era. We communicate on it, we can share our feelings and concerns and it's so glued to our hand that it's almost screaming at us. But it also has such a dark side where people can vocalize their opinion without any moderation or consideration for others and that is crazy. I know so many people personally and even myself that has been commented about online by complete strangers that 'know me'. It's a huge reminder that you only see such a small percentage of someones life and no money or fame can take away feelings and emotions because it doesn't matter how much money someone has or how much they are perceived to have a 'perfect life' there is no such thing. We're all human and we all have our own things that we're battling.

I find it so important to reach out to people that I know. I have such a 'banterous' type relationship with my closest friends but I love them all dearly and would drop absolutely anything to make sure their okay because you never know someone is going through and you never know the last time you might see someone. It's the truth. Always value your time with the people you love. I was having a chat with my friend recently and we got onto the topic of things about friendships (who I've known for the longest time) and we were saying how we couldn't imagine what would make our friendship break but it's so true. Yes, we get on each others nerves but god. We wouldn't be dramatic about that. It's something that I've learned as I've got older and something that I generally think about more but making effort is such a huge thing for me to do for people have the most care for.

I'm not saying we're not allowed to be annoyed because gosh, we subconsciously don't think. But some things aren't worth being annoyed about. We are so privileged to be able to walk out our homes feeling safe, to be able to go to work and earn our own money for things we want and being able to go out and buy them. Some people aren't as lucky as you and that's something to remember. That top you have? Someone has been saving weeks to buy that. The school you go to? There are unfortunately countries where children don't get a free education or an education at all. The argument you had with your Mum? Some people don't have a Mum to argue with or a loving family with a safe house to go back to. Always appreciate what you have and never take anybody or anything for granted. We can all take something from this.

Always be kind.

So, I think this maybe will be the most helpful post I have ever done and it's something we can all get something out of (this could also be something that everybody also knows about but for those who don't, I'm here for you!). I have found a hack that will save you lots of your favorite product and lots of money because you won't have to keep re-buying your favorite products when they're "empty" because there is actually so much more product still in there, scraped on the sides that you can get and use.

1. Get your favorite product (that is fairly empty) and cut the top off. Cut it right off with a pair of scissors. Just a little side note as I've said previously in this post, this might be the most simplest hack in the WORLD but it's amazing for those who don't know about it and could save you so much hassle and time.

2. Grab a pot to dispense it into (I get mine from Boots - they're linked here!) Or I know The Body Shop gives product testers out in small pots and I also have a few of those from a few testers that I've had previously, which are so useful for things for like this.

3. Grab a spatula, or you could use a small spoon and scrape the rest of the product into the tub.

4. You now have a full tub of product that you would of normally just thrown away and wasted!

You could literally use this hack with absolutely everything. Hair gel, serums or even food (tomato ketchup springs to mind!) I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I love reading hacks and as it is my first one I hope you found it useful!

THIS POST CONTAINS GIFTED ITEMS.
Welcome to the first skincare post of 2020, are we all excited? I've been meaning to do a whole blog post on this topic for a while now and here we are. Self love is something that I always rave about, this could be taking a night out for pampering yourself, having your favorite meal and a early night or taking yourself away on a little holiday to relax and have some ultimate me time. Both of these are things that I've done myself in the past and I can't encourage you all to do the same. Talking from my own experience, I did not realize how much I needed alone time until I started to have it, I'm going to be completely honest. I took myself on holiday for about a week, all on my own and I have never felt so energized in my life, it was exactly what I needed. Our brains store so much information throughout each day and sometimes everything just gets a bit much, it doesn't matter weather you work 7 days a week or if you work 3 days a week, everybody is the same and we all get stressed and nobody should feel bad or embarrassed to admit that. We're all perfectly normal and we're human.

So, I usually take Sundays to give myself that time away from social media and the world in general. I love picking a Sunday as it's the end of the week, it's Monday tomorrow and I want to feel amazing on a Monday morning so I'm ready for a brand new week. The first plan of action is to run a bath, I've recently noticed how many people I know that don't like baths and that is crazy to me. Am I bathing in my own dirt? It's relaxing so I will always be a huge fan of a bath. I always use the Radox Men Muscle Therapy which is infused with black pepper and ginseng and it's been my go-to for years and I'm pretty happy about it. Adding a favorite scent or a soak to your bath can make you feel right at home.

After having a bath, I always like to moisturize my body and this isn't a recent thing. I did a few times quite a while a go and never went back to it but I notice such a difference in my skin,. especially now it's quite cold where I live and my skin is suffering I'm not going to lie. I've always banged on how I have really weird skin depending on the weather and it is really showing right now so a bit of moisture is exactly what my skin needs. I've been hugely obsessed with the Juicy Pear Body Yogurt (which was kindly gifted to me, thank you to The Body Shop!) which was part of this year's Christmas range and I am slightly upset that I may never be able to get another one but hey ho, I am using it very sparingly!

Now it's onto skin. My face is very confused by the weather at the moment and It's having some issues, I recently picked up the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil from The Body Shop and boy, did I need an oil? Yes I did. Oils have always appeared quite scary to me and I'm not sure why, I hate the idea of rubbing oil on my face but it is so luxurious and I think this is a product that is going to be re-purchased and re-purchased again. After I've eat, shaved and 'skincared' my body up I am ready for bed and something that has been helping me sleep lately is the SugarBear Sleep Vitamins (this is NOT sponsored, by the way hehe!) and I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical when they contacted me and asked me if I'd like some sent to me to see if I like them. Now, it could just be in my bed but I got sent a few months worth (very kindly by the SugarBear team, thank you so much!) and I've been taking them for around two months now every night, I have two when I'm ready to sleep and I've binged watched a few things and they have been helping me so much, so if you would like to check them out then I will leave a link here for you.

Happy Sunday! If you haven't read my previous blog post, then you won't know this but I have moved and I've been slowly sorting how I want things to look and what I want in each room and I am so excited to show you some little snippets of my home office. I'm a true believer of having a separate room to work in because sometime last year I got into such a slump from working in my bed and I started to associate my bedroom with work, so now my bedroom is a full work-free room and I don't really even take my laptop in there anymore so I don't get into that again. I absolutely love this room in my office and I am very excited to show it to you and as always, the items (or similar) will be linked at the end of this post for you!

Hello again. I have been so super excited to sit down and write this post as it seems like forever seems I last updated you guys with anything (well it has). So, I want to get straight into this. Firstly, Happy New Year - its 2020! Insane. It's a whole new decade and I am feeling super excited about this year. The first exciting thing I need to update you guys on is that I have moved! This has been something that has been in the talks for a while now and due to my current family situation which isn't an issue and nothing is wrong, I've just decided to move and I am super super excited for this huge step in my life. I will be doing little updates over on my Snapchat (which is where I've been for the past few months I haven't been blogging, so you should definitely start following me on there if you don't already!) where you will slowly start to see how things are coming on in my new place etc etc!

Another thing... University. I am still at University if any of you are wondering, I am currently studying a health degree and I am in my second year. Honestly, the first year of University for me absolutely flew by and I loved every bit of it. The first of my second year has been a lot more harder for me to organize, I used to always organize when I was going to do what work (and absolutely everything in my life) and make sure it was completed by a certain date and that hasn't really happened lately. A lot of life things have happened, obviously I've been busy with moving and working behind the scenes on lots of different things that you will find out about very soon (I promise!). But anyway, I really want to change the way I've been handling my studies and things again and get back to being organised and knowing exactly when I'm doing work and when it will get done by. My diary is going to become my best friend again.

I also just want to say a HUGE thank you for 500,000 views on this platform. I haven't uploaded a post since hitting 500k but I just want to say a HUGE thank you. I don't ever talk about how much this has truly changed my life in such a positive way but you all make me so happy.

I am overall so excited for 2020 and I hope it brings you lots of love and happiness! My schedule for 2020 is going to remain to one post a week on a Sunday at 4pm and I want to do more chatty posts like I used too and I'm going to get back into this because I've took a little break to have a bit of time for myself and just spend some time with my friends and family over Christmas and it's definitely what I've needed and I feel SUPER refreshed now and ready to start creating again and ready to smash the new year. I hope you're all well and I'll see you next Sunday with a brand new post!
