4 WAYS TO REWARD YOURSELF & PRACTICE SELF-CARE

You may be achieving significant milestones in your life and aren't celebrating nearly as often as you should be. It's important to take the time to acknowledge your achievements and reward yourself appropriately. Doing so will help to keep you motivated and on track for accomplishing even more as time goes on. Practicing self-care will make you feel better and you'll have more energy to continue reaching for your desired goals in life. It's also important to remember that it's not selfish to attend to your needs and care for yourself.

Sleep In & Rest - One way to reward yourself and practice self-care that I have found is to get more sleep and enjoy having a rest. Pick a day or two that you can sleep in and don't set your alarm. Turn your phone off and have some me time. Taking breaks from social media and being on your phone can do wonders for your mental health and well-being. 

Treat Yourself - You can also reward yourself by treating yourself to something that you've always wanted. Think about what you've been dreaming about and saving up for and then have fun shopping for it and becoming the proud owner of a special present to yourself. A few ideas include purchasing a new outfit or a Richard Mille watch. It's a chance for you to treat yourself without feeling guilty about how much you're spending.

Take a Day Off Work - Another idea if you want to reward or treat yourself is to book yourself some holiday off work and relax. Use it as an opportunity to spend time doing what you love. For instance, go for a coffee with a friend or plan a trip away and do the activities you love to do. Taking time off work may be all you need to improve your mental health and get yourself feeling motivated to work hard. Whilst work is important, so is your health and wellness and a break may be all you need to feel your best and more confident about how for you've come.

Go For A Hike or Bike Ride - Exercise doesn't always have to be a chore and there are so many health benefits that is offers too. Going for a hike on a new trail is a excellent way to clear your mind and reduce any stress you're feeling as well. Go outside in nature so you can appreciate what is around you. This could be fun to take a friend with you too!
